    Teton Regional Land Trust’s 20th Anniversary Celebration,
5 to 9 p.m. at Six Springs Ranch, TRLT’a first conservation easement. Musicians, food vendors and heritage related activities for both kids and adults. Also the release of Stories from the Land: Music Project Vol. 1, an exciting compilation of local artists.     Island Park Chamber of Commerce's Annual Golf Tournament

    • Ashton Pool Fundraiser
at 6 p.m. at the Rotary Pavilion in Ashton City Park. The dinner followed by a baked goods auction at 7 p.m. Please bring a yummy baked good for auction, plan to buy one, or both. All donations will go toward pool upkeep. Everyone's support is greatly appreciated in this effort to keep this great asset in our community functioning! Questions? Call Rachel Hatton @ 652-0144.
    • Little Church in the Pines Pot Luck, 6 p.m.
Church provides meat for BBQ. Please bring a salad, side dish, or dessert. 6 p.m.

Saturday August 14
    • The Island Park Library Friends, Inc
. annual membership meeting is at 4 p.m. at the library, 4377 County Circle. Everyone is invited to attend, and input from the community is welcome. Agenda items include: a summary of the year’s events, the proposed 2011 budget, and proposed goals and projects. For more information, call Diane Hunt at 558-9242 or Rosemary Thompson at 558-9841.
    • Teton Regional Land Trust’s 2nd annual Parking Lot Party, 4 to 7 p.m. at the Three Rivers Ranch Orvis Fly Shop in Last Chance. The land trust will provide burgers, beverages, sides, and opportunities for conservation conversation. There is no cost to attend.
    • Artists In Progress musical jam session, 6 - 9 p.m. at Angler’s Lodge in Last Chance. If you sing, dance, play an instrument, come perform for a live audience. Bring your instrument – sound system provided.

Tuesday, August 17
    Island Park Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Elections,
noon, Elk Creek Ranch. Meal includes dessert and is $14, tax and tip included. Please make reservations by Saturday, August 14 by calling the ranch, 558.7404.

• Targhee Women’s Club Annual Auction
, immediately after lunch, which is served at 11:30 a.m. at the Lodgepole Grill at Phillips Lodge. Everyone is welcome. Bill Smith is the auctioneer. Please bring good items to auction because this raises money that is donated to area charities. Now accepting donations for yard sale and auction at OutBack Realty and Rainbow Realty. This event raises money for the Island Park Community Fund.
